Russian President Putin Arrives in India for BRICS Summit
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived at the Indian Air Force base in Palam, near the country’s capital, for a two-day visit. Sputnik news agency reported that Putin’s agenda includes delivering a speech at the BRICS summit, holding discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and visiting the “Innoprom India” exhibition.
The Russian President’s schedule also encompasses a series of bilateral talks, including meetings with the leaders of South Africa, Malaysia, and Ethiopia, as well as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Putin’s aircraft landed at the Indian Air Force base in Palam, with Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, receiving the Russian President upon arrival.
President Putin is slated to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Furthermore, the Russian President will join other leaders in the BRICS Business Forum. The main program for the 18th BRICS summit is set to commence tomorrow, Saturday.
