Yemeni Forces Inflict Heavy Losses on Saudi-Backed Commanders

At least nine commanders of Saudi-backed forces have been killed or wounded in a recent engagement in the Bab al-Mandab strait, according to reports from Yemeni sources. The attacks are said to be escalating the disruption within the ranks of the Saudi-backed forces.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, four commanders from Saudi-backed forces have been killed and five others injured in the Al-Kahbub area of Bab al-Mandab, as reported by the Al-Masirah network in Yemen, citing exclusive sources. The Mehr News Agency also published data related to these events.

Among those killed were a battalion commander and two company commanders. Reports also indicate that among the injured are the Chief of Staff of the so-called ‘4th Brigade’, the Chief of Staff of the ‘1st Division’, and the Chief of Staff of the ‘2nd Battalion’ of the Saudi-backed forces.

Yemeni armed forces continue to inflict substantial damage on the Saudi enemy and its mercenaries through these operations. Targeting senior commanders is aimed at further destabilizing the leadership and ranks of the Saudi-backed forces.
