Yemen Urges Global Action Against Saudi Intervention

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Yemeni government in Sana’a stated in a communiqué that the world must tell Saudi Arabia to stop interfering in Yemen’s affairs. The ministry asserted that Saudi Arabia is employing military forces to occupy Yemen, kill its people, and destroy its resources through airstrikes. The statement further highlighted that Saudi Arabia continues its unjust blockade against the Yemeni people, dismissing claims of issues in the Bab al-Mandab strait, asserting that maritime navigation there is secure and that Saudi efforts to mislead the international community on this matter are baseless. Sana’a also affirmed its awareness of Saudi Arabia’s military support for mercenaries, noting that statements from leaders of these groups corroborate Yemen’s narrative. Consequently, Sana’a claims a full and legitimate right to target Saudi mercenary gatherings.
