US Vice President Vance: Iran Conflict Could Conclude Post-Midterm Elections

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Vice President JD Vance has stated his concurrence with President Donald Trump’s remarks suggesting the potential for the conflict involving Iran to conclude shortly after the midterm elections. Vance, in an interview with the New York Post, asserted that Iran’s influence over the Strait of Hormuz will continue to wane until the midterm elections are held.

The Vice President further reported that maritime traffic through this vital waterway has now returned to over 50 percent of its normal levels. Vance characterized Washington’s current engagement as being in the second phase of the conflict, a stage he described as focused on preventing the rebuilding of Iran’s capabilities and maintaining global stability.
