Lebanese President and French President Discuss Ending Israeli Attacks
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris to discuss efforts aimed at halting Israeli attacks against Lebanon. The discussions also covered initiatives related to the post-UNIFIL mandate period.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese Presidency has announced that President Joseph Aoun met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris for consultations. The meeting focused on concerted efforts to bring an end to the attacks by Israel against Lebanon.
In a statement released by the Lebanese Presidency, it was noted that President Aoun welcomed and praised the initiative put forth by the French President and the Italian Prime Minister concerning the period following the conclusion of the UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) mission.
