US Vice President Vance Defends Trump’s Media Access Policy, Cites Iran’s Nuclear Stance

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance on Monday sought to justify President Donald Trump‘s policy on restricting access for certain media outlets to the White House. Vance claimed that Trump does not ban journalists but rather states that special access will not be granted to those engaged in what he termed biased propaganda.

The Vice President alleged that over 92 percent of the reporting from three specific media outlets concerning the President and the U.S. administration is negative.

Furthermore, J.D. Vance asserted that President Trump stated Iran must not possess nuclear weapons and that actions were taken to prevent Tehran from acquiring them. Vance claimed that Iran responded by creating insecurity and intimidation in international shipping, emphasizing the necessity of supporting the free flow of cargo.
