IRGC Spokesman: We are prepared for all possibilities, reject war with Persian Gulf states

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hussein Mohebbi, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), told Al-Arabi TV that the organization does not act autonomously and that claims of acting without orders from higher command are false. Mohebbi asserted that a chain of command has always existed within the IRGC and continues to do so. He further stated that the IRGC anticipated an attack from a base in Jordan and that this preemptive action was the reason for their response. The IRGC spokesperson stressed that they are not pursuing war with Persian Gulf countries and advocate for unity and integration within the region. He affirmed respect for the territorial integrity of all neighboring nations. Mohebbi underscored that while diplomacy is not rejected, the fundamental principle for them is the punishment of aggressors. The IRGC spokesperson concluded by stating that they have developed scenarios for various threats and are prepared for all possibilities.
