Russian State Nuclear Energy Corporation: Situation Stable at Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the head of Russia’s state nuclear energy corporation Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev, announced on Monday that the number of Rosatom employees who have returned to Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant has risen to 63. He stated that the situation at the site of Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant is calm.
Likhachev further elaborated that a notable increase in Rosatom personnel in Iran would only be feasible after the stabilization of peace agreements between Iran and the United States. Previously, he had reported that the process of Russian specialists returning to the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant was ongoing, with 42 Rosatom employees present at the time.
He also reiterated that all proposals regarding Iran’s enriched uranium remain on the table, and Russia is prepared to play a role in resolving issues related to the matter.
