Ukraine Launched Nearly 9,000 Attacks on Russia Last Week, Says Moscow Diplomat

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Rodion Miroshnik, the Ambassador-at-Large for Special Missions of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that Kyiv conducted nearly 9,000 attacks on Russian territory last week, including during the State Duma elections. This figure equates to approximately 1270 attacks per day.

Miroshnik elaborated, “This week, we once again reached a certain peak; that is, close to 9,000 attacks. This figure is approximately equivalent to 1250 to 1270 attacks per day.”

The diplomat emphasized that the Ukrainian side aimed to obstruct the elections through military means by targeting civilian infrastructure. He noted that an increase in the number of attacks has been observed since May, peaking in August.

Miroshnik concluded by stating, “The scale of this affair indicates that it was a planned action. Kyiv, with the support or green light from its Western backers, employed measures, including military ones, to prevent people from participating in the vote.”
