Lavrov: Russia Will Not Halt Ukraine Military Operation, Seeks Fair Peace

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly that Russia is ready for negotiations to achieve a just peace in Ukraine. Lavrov asserted that Europe’s desire for a ceasefire is intended to provide the Kyiv regime with an opportunity to rebuild its military capabilities.

The Russian Foreign Minister further commented that NATO has remained silent regarding the actions of the Kyiv regime. He stated that Europe once again rejected the agreements reached in Anchorage, referencing the meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska, and attempted to backtrack from them during the Istanbul negotiations.

Sergey Lavrov added that meetings involving Vitkaff and Kushner, identified as envoys of Trump, confirmed Washington’s desire to find a resolution to the Ukraine issue. He reiterated Russia’s commitment to the special military operation in Ukraine, indicating that Europe’s push for a ceasefire is aimed at utilizing it to supply weapons to the Kyiv regime.
