Hamas Praises ‘Heroic’ Anti-Israeli Operation Near Ramallah

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement of Palestine (Hamas) issued a statement on Wednesday afternoon, characterizing the anti-Israeli operation near Ramallah as a “heroic” act. Hamas asserted that the operation, carried out by a Palestinian individual near the Beit Ur checkpoint west of Ramallah, is a direct response to the actions of settlers and occupation leaders, as well as their frequent incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and disrespect for Islamic holy sites.

The statement emphasized that the ongoing crimes committed by the occupation forces and settler militias, along with the continuous violation of the rights of the Palestinian people and land in the occupied West Bank, will only lead to further failures and setbacks for them.

Hamas further urged Palestinians and protesting youth in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem to intensify resistance against the occupation forces and settlers in all occupied territories, utilizing all forms and tools of confrontation.

Earlier, Israeli media reported an anti-Israeli vehicle-ramming attack on Route 443 in the West Bank. Channel 14 of the Israeli regime reported that one Israeli was severely injured, with other sources indicating a higher number of casualties. The individual who carried out the operation was reportedly shot by occupation forces.

Following the incident, a significant number of soldiers were deployed to the checkpoint where the operation occurred. Hebrew media acknowledged that the Israeli soldier who was the target of the vehicle-ramming operation in the West Bank and sustained severe injuries, was a member of the Israeli military.
