Israeli Airline Cancels Flights to Dubai Amidst Unspecified Approval Issues

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, El Al, the Israeli airline, announced on Friday that it has canceled planned flights intended to bring Israelis back from Dubai. This decision comes after Flydubai had previously canceled its flights to and from the occupied territories following an incident that occurred on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, media reports indicated that a Flydubai aircraft carrying dozens of Israeli passengers en route to Tel Aviv diverted its course and landed in Saudi Arabia. Reports also suggested that this incident occurred due to an altercation between the co-pilot and the pilot inside the aircraft.
A spokesperson for El Al confirmed that all flights scheduled for Friday have been canceled without a new date being set. The Ministry of Transport of the regime stated that Tel Aviv has not yet secured the required approval from the UAE for these flights to operate.
El Al had previously announced its intention to operate two special flights to repatriate Israeli passengers from Dubai, a move made in response to the suspension of Flydubai’s services.
