Trump Consulted AI on Venezuela Operation, Report Claims

A source close to U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed that the President consulted with artificial intelligence, specifically Grok, regarding a potential operation in Venezuela, including the apprehension of its president. This consultation reportedly preceded a subsequent order for such an operation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and reported by Al Jazeera, an informed source within Donald Trump‘s inner circle disclosed that the U.S. President spent several hours consulting with artificial intelligence (Grok) about an attack on Venezuela and the abduction of its president.

The report indicates that Trump inquired with the AI about the potential reaction of the Venezuelan populace in the event of President Maduro’s arrest or abduction. Weeks later, an order was issued for an incursion into the country and the apprehension of Maduro.

Previously, it was reported that the U.S. military’s use of information received from artificial intelligence nearly led to a military confrontation with Chinese forces.

The Daily Beast also reported that AI-equipped chatbots lack the capacity for independent thought or logical reasoning, as their responses merely reflect the data on which they were trained. The U.S. experience in Venezuela reportedly encouraged Trump to consider an incursion into Iran, with the belief that a similar swift victory could be achieved. However, after seven months, the outcome of that conflict remains uncertain.
