Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 74,000 as Conflict Continues

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported that the death toll from the ongoing conflict has reached 74,228, with an additional 175,188 individuals injured since October 7, 2023. Recent days have seen a grim tally of new casualties, underscoring the severe humanitarian impact.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that 7 martyrs and 20 injured individuals were transferred to hospitals in the enclave over the past 48 hours. This latest update comes as the conflict continues to inflict heavy casualties.

Since the ceasefire established on October 11, 2025, a total of 1,445 Palestinians have been martyred, with an additional 5,072 people injured. During this same period, the bodies of 835 martyrs have been recovered from under the rubble and various areas across the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that the cumulative number of martyrs from the Israeli regime’s genocidal war, since October 7, 2023, has reached 74,228, with the number of injured standing at 175,188. The ministry further noted that 181 martyrs have been added to the cumulative statistics following the completion of data and confirmation by the special committee for martyr registration, since the last statistics update on September 26, 2026.
