Massive ‘Free Palestine for Gaza’ March Planned in Ankara

Thousands are expected to participate in a ‘Free Palestine for Gaza’ march in Ankara on October 7th to protest Israeli attacks on Gaza and highlight the humanitarian crisis, despite an October 10th ceasefire.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a major demonstration titled ‘Free Palestine for Gaza’ is scheduled to take place in Ankara on October 7th. The march aims to protest the ongoing attacks by the Israeli regime on Gaza, even after a ceasefire that went into effect on October 10, 2025, and to draw international attention to the dire humanitarian situation faced by Palestinians.

The event is being organized by non-governmental organizations affiliated with the ‘Palestine Solidarity Framework in Ankara’ (ANFİDAP). The march will commence at 7 PM from the Kocatepe Mosque and conclude at the Melike Hatun Mosque.

Following the march, a rally featuring several speakers is planned. Metin Mahitapoğlu, the current spokesperson for ANFİDAP, emphasized that protesting Israel’s occupation and alleged genocide in Palestine is a human responsibility. He stated that the framework has been actively supporting Palestine for the past three years and will be hosting various events as part of ‘Palestine Week’ from October 4th to October 10th.
