Israeli Artillery Strikes Southern Lebanon Amid Escalated Border Tensions

Israeli artillery has continued its bombardment of southern Lebanon, targeting towns and areas near the border following a night of intensified shelling and drone activity.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the National News Agency of Lebanon reported that Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of the town of Shaqra in the Bint Jbeil district earlier today. The Israeli artillery attacks also struck the area between the towns of Arnon and Kfar Tibnit, the agency added.

Meanwhile, an enemy Israeli drone dropped a sound bomb between the towns of Barachit and Shaqra. Simultaneously, an Israeli Merkava tank shelled the town of Houla.

Last night, the Israeli regime also subjected the grounds of a public school in the Haret Al-Baydar area of Mayfadoun to intense and concentrated artillery shelling. These attacks also occurred in parts of Dweir Kfar Rumman and the outskirts of the towns of Haris and Heddatha.
