Iraqi Lawmaker Demands End to US Interference in Domestic Affairs

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Iraqi parliament member, Jassim Attwan, has asserted that the United States government is exerting significant political pressure to influence the selection process for cabinet nominees, pushing for individuals who lack nationalistic sentiment. These actions, Attwan stated, demonstrate America’s continued pursuit of dominance over Iraq’s internal decision-making processes. Consequently, he emphasized the urgent need for a unified and decisive stance against overt American interventions. Attwan concluded that Iraq requires full and final liberation from American control across both political and economic spheres.
