Yemeni Forces Secure Al-Alimi’s Residence, Purge Al-Mawaset Region in Taiz

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemeni armed forces have seized control of the residence of Rashad Al-Alimi, the self-proclaimed head of the Presidential Leadership Council for the Saudi-backed government. This operation has resulted in the expulsion of Saudi-affiliated mercenaries from the entire Al-Mawaset region in Taiz province, as reported by Al-Masirah.

Al-Alimi had previously claimed the commencement of a large-scale operation against Yemeni forces. A military source within the Yemeni armed forces confirmed to the Saba News Agency that these mercenary elements were driven out of the Al-Mawaset area.

Furthermore, reports indicate that Yemeni armed forces are engaged in combat against indiscriminate attacks by Emirati and Saudi mercenaries. Yemeni sources have also reported the downing of a Saudi spy drone in Taiz.
