Senior Yemeni Military Commander Killed in Taiz Clashes

A senior military official loyal to Saudi-backed forces has been killed during confrontations in Yemen’s Taiz province. The commander of the 35th Armored Brigade, Abdulrahman Shamsani, died in an engagement in the Jabal Motran area.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Yemeni military source speaking to the Yemeni Saba News Agency has reported the death of a high-ranking soldier affiliated with Saudi-backed mercenaries during clashes in Taiz province. The source stated that Abdulrahman Shamsani, the commander of the 35th Armored Brigade of the Saudi mercenaries, was killed in Jabal Motran in Taiz province.

This incident occurs amidst significant advancements by Yemeni armed forces in Taiz. Earlier reports indicated rapid advances, with liberation of areas including Al-Oloom, Al-Shaoubah, and Al-Ain in the Al-Mawaset district. Forces also reached elements deployed in the heights of the Samea district from the south.
