Yemen Strikes Saudi Airports and Bases; Saudi CH-4 Drone Downed

Yemen’s armed forces have announced successful strikes targeting Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid Airport in Riyadh with drones, and conducted missile and drone operations against Abha International Airport and Khamis Mushait base. A Saudi CH-4 spy drone was also shot down over Al Jawf province.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen‘s armed forces spokesperson, Yahya Saree, announced the downing of a Saudi CH-4 spy drone in the airspace of Al Jawf province. He further stated that King Khalid Airport in Riyadh was targeted with a number of drones.

Saree also reported that two military operations were carried out by Yemeni armed forces against Abha International Airport and Khamis Mushait base, utilizing ballistic missiles and drones. Additionally, enemy gatherings were targeted in unique operations against Al Daghareer garrison in Jizan, Akefah garrison in Asir, and Al Musam garrison in Jizan.

The operations come amid ongoing conflict in the region, with Yemen’s military asserting its capability to strike deep within Saudi territory.
