Hamas Delegation Travels to Cairo for Palestinian Dialogue

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced on Wednesday that a delegation, led by Zaher Jabarin, head of Hamas in the West Bank, has departed for Cairo, the Egyptian capital. The purpose of the visit is to hold meetings with a number of Palestinian groups and movements.
The delegation includes Hussam Badran, a member of the Political Bureau and head of the National Relations Office of Hamas, and Ghazi Hamad, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas stated that this trip is part of ongoing consultations on initiatives related to Palestinian national dialogue. During their meetings with Palestinian groups and movements, the Hamas delegation is expected to explore ways to advance the national dialogue process and bridge the gaps in perspectives among different Palestinian factions.
The delegation will also discuss several files pertinent to the current stage and evolving circumstances of the Palestinian cause.
