Yemen Strikes Riyadh’s King Khalid Airport with Ballistic Missile, Disrupts Air Traffic

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen‘s armed forces spokesperson announced on Thursday afternoon that King Khalid Airport in Riyadh was targeted with a ballistic missile, which successfully struck its intended destination. The strike reportedly caused damage and significant disruption to air traffic at the airport.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, in a statement published on social media, stated that the attack on King Khalid Airport led to damage and a halt in aerial movement. In response, the spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition acknowledged the missile attack by Yemeni forces but claimed that two ballistic missiles launched towards Riyadh were intercepted and destroyed.
The senior Yemeni official issued a further warning, cautioning against any presence at Saudi airports and facilities to ensure the safety and security of individuals. Prior to Saree’s announcement, the flight tracking website Flightradar24 had reported that Riyadh Airport in Saudi Arabia was temporarily closed again, with inbound and outbound flights suspended.
