According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the selection of Katie Zacharia, a communications advisor for his personal platform, as the new White House Press Secretary, replacing Karoline Leavitt.

Trump expressed his confidence in Zacharia’s ability to achieve significant accomplishments for the nation in her new role. The appointment comes just before the midterm elections scheduled for next month.

Zacharia has been serving as a senior media advisor for Truth Social and the Trump Media and Technology Group since June. Previously, she briefly held the position of spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, departing from that role in March. Her prior experience also includes a tenure as legal counsel for Fix California.
