Pentagon Revises U.S. Military Fatalities in Iran Incursion

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Department of Defense, commonly known as the Pentagon, has acknowledged an increase in the number of American military personnel killed during incursions into Iran. Data released by The Washington Post, citing Mehr News Agency, indicates that the Pentagon has incrementally updated its figures for casualties sustained by U.S. forces on Iranian soil, confirming that the number of fatalities is higher than previously reported.
The Pentagon’s official statistics have been updated to include two additional fatalities, according to the report. The revised figures indicate that 21 U.S. military personnel have been killed and 865 injured as a result of the United States’ incursion into Iranian territory.
This development occurs as American media outlets suggest the U.S. government has been withholding accurate casualty numbers for its service members killed and wounded during retaliatory attacks by Iran, particularly as the midterm congressional elections approach.
