This advisory comes after Reuters reported hearing a powerful explosion at Riyadh Airport, citing informed sources. Associated Press also reported on a new attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, quoting regional officials.
Associated Press further added, based on regional official accounts, that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was evacuated and all flights were halted. Data from FlightRadar indicated that all flights bound for Riyadh were rerouting and diverting away from the airport due to a complete cessation of air traffic. These statistics revealed that the number of canceled flights at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh had reached 221 by early morning.
