Lieberman Accuses Netanyahu of Seeking Military Conflict Ahead of Elections

Former Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of pursuing military engagements before the upcoming Knesset elections on October 27th, citing political motivations.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Former Israeli Defense Minister and leader of the ‘Yisrael Beiteinu’ party, Avigdor Lieberman, has criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, alleging that the premier is seeking military conflicts before the Knesset elections scheduled for October 27th.

In his remarks, Lieberman warned that Netanyahu is intentionally orchestrating a war for his own political objectives.

He further claimed that leaders of the Likud party, the ruling party in Israel, have contacted him seeking assistance to remove Netanyahu.

These statements from the Israeli official come as the results of an election poll in the occupied territories indicate that Benjamin Netanyahu’s party would lose an additional three seats compared to the beginning of the current month, securing only 21 seats. Meanwhile, Netanyahu’s opposition rivals, Yair Golan and Avigdor Lieberman, are projected to win 9 and 8 seats respectively.
