US Central Command Claims Minesweeping in Strait of Hormuz Amidst Iranian Assertions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, the spokesperson for the terrorist US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that claims by Iran regarding oil tankers hitting naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz are incorrect, aiming to boost the morale of its military personnel.
This American terrorist military official, in an attempt to generate achievements for the Republican administration in the United States, claimed: “We have cleared the international shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz of mines. Iran uses missiles and drones in its actions in the Strait of Hormuz. Despite Iran’s hostile and baseless actions, 95 percent of vessels successfully pass through the Strait of Hormuz!”
He further asserted: “Iran says the Strait of Hormuz is closed, but this strait remains open to maritime shipping. The blockade of Iran’s ports deprives the country of the necessary resources to rebuild its military capabilities!”
The propagandistic claim by the spokesperson for the terrorist US Central Command (CENTCOM) comes on the eve of the US midterm congressional elections. This is occurring at a time when, due to the destabilization of the strategic Strait of Hormuz by American aggressors following an illegal incursion into Iranian territory, the prices of oil and energy carriers have seen a significant increase.
