Trump Denies Knowledge of ‘Barak’ Claim on Iran Attack

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and citing American media outlets, Donald Trump has expressed no knowledge of Tom Barak, the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey’s, claim regarding the very high possibility of an attack on Iran over the weekend.
In response to a reporter’s question, “The U.S. Ambassador to Turkey has said there is a very strong possibility that an attack will be carried out against Iran at the end of this week,” Trump stated: “I think he (Barak) is an influential individual, but I know nothing about it.”
Media outlets had reported earlier, citing Tom Barak, that a U.S. attack on Iran over the weekend was definitely a possibility.
Barak also reportedly said: “We need to resolve this in a way that does not mean regime change in Iran, but a change in the regime’s policy in Iran. The United States and the President himself have stated that they do not seek regime change.”
The U.S. Ambassador to Turkey claimed: “The goal of America and President Trump is to re-establish balance in such a way that there are no longer any hostages, there is no threat, the world achieves peace, and certainty is established regarding the current situation.”
