Yemeni Official: Saudi Arabia Pursuing ‘Greater Israel’ Project

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing data published by the Mehr News Agency and the Yemeni Al-Masirah website, Nasr al-Din Amer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemen News Agency, emphasized that intelligence cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the Zionist enemy is not a new phenomenon. He stated that claims suggesting these collaborations have emerged as a result of recent aggressions against Yemen are an attempt to mislead public opinion and cover up past cooperation.
Amer explained that reports highlighting these collaborations between the Zionist enemy and Saudi Arabia actually represent admissions that reveal the nature of normalizing relations with the Zionists, who are considered the greatest enemy of the Arab and Islamic nation.
He stressed the importance of analyzing current events within the broader framework of the aggressions against Yemen since 2015, the military strikes by the United States, Britain, and the Zionist regime, and the recent escalations by Saudi Arabia.
Amer stated that the aggressive military operations targeting Yemen over the past years reflect coordination within a joint enemy operations room. Citing the similarity in methods used to monitor and target civilians, infrastructure, and non-military facilities that have been bombed at various stages, he asserted that these actions are managed by a single operations room and are in line with the Zionist-American project.
Amer clarified that Riyadh lacks an independent project in the region, and its actions consistently serve the interests of the United States and Zionism. He posited that current developments are aimed at imposing Zionist hegemony over the region and altering its political and security balance based on the “Greater Israel” project.
The Yemeni official referenced past admissions concerning enemy intelligence cells that monitored locations and targets in the Yemeni capital and were linked to U.S., Israeli, and Saudi intelligence agencies. He added that the assertion that Saudi Arabia is being pushed towards normalization due to recent developments disregards prior evidence of security and military cooperation between Tel Aviv and Riyadh.
Further elaborating on military cooperation with the Zionist enemy, Amer referred to previous statements by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi regarding drone flights from Saudi territory for incursions into Yemen. He noted that the nature of these drones and their flight paths are technical and factual indicators of normalization by Saudi Arabia and cooperation to advance the Zionist project in the region.
He underscored that the multiplicity of parties involved in the aggressive military operations against Yemen, from the United States and Britain to the Zionist and Saudi regimes, proves that these actions are part of a unified project aimed at imposing the presence of the Zionist entity as the dominant power throughout the region and desecrating the nation and its sacred sites under the direct control of the United States and Zionism.
Amer concluded that the failure of the aggressive military operations against Yemen signifies the failure of betting on Yemen’s surrender in favor of the Zionist project, which Saudi Arabia has been and continues to pursue.
