Israeli Forces Continue Heavy Shelling and Explosions Across Southern Lebanon Amid Escalating Violations

Israeli military forces have launched a fresh wave of artillery bombardments and controlled demolitions across multiple towns in southern Lebanon, continuing persistent violations of the ceasefire agreement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli military forces on Sunday pressed ahead with intense artillery strikes and demolition operations targeting various areas across southern Lebanon in an ongoing breach of the ceasefire. According to reports from the Lebanese National News Agency, Israeli troops carried out a series of explosions inside the town of Ainata while simultaneously launching early morning artillery attacks against positions in the town of Al-Mansouri and the outskirts of Hadatha.

During the previous night, occupation forces subjected the area stretching between the towns of Zawtar el-Charkkiyeh and Mifdoun to heavy and concentrated artillery fire. Furthermore, the Wadi al-Hujair region, located adjacent to the Al-Ghandouriyeh sector, was also heavily shelled as military provocations by Tel Aviv escalated across the southern regions of Lebanon.

These aggressive maneuvers follow a pattern of intensified airstrikes and shelling in recent days that have impacted numerous towns, including Al-Mansouri, Nabatieh el-Fawqa, Sarbine, Wadi al-Salouqi, Beit Yahoun, Baraachit, and Kfar Tebnit. Hostile forces have additionally engaged in widespread destruction and the dynamiting of buildings across the townships of Tallouseh, Khiam, Kounine, and Kfar Tebnit.

Statistical data indicates that Israel has significantly intensified its aggression against Lebanon, targeting residential neighborhoods, rural villages, urban centers, and civilian infrastructure. This escalating campaign has resulted in thousands of casualties and forced approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens to flee their homes.
