Hamas Condemns Israeli Strikes on Gaza and Khan Yunis Police as Deliberate War Crimes

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a fierce statement denouncing the recent Israeli military incursions that targeted police personnel in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, alongside intensive bombardments across Gaza City. The movement characterized these assaults as blatant, premeditated war crimes designed to perpetuate violence against the Palestinian population and deliberately obstruct the restoration of security, stability, and normal civilian life in the Gaza Strip.
The strikes resulted in significant casualties, including the martyrdom of five individuals during the attack on police officers in Khan Yunis, and an additional three deaths—including a father and his child—in the Gaza City bombings, alongside numerous injuries among local residents. Hamas emphasized that the systematic and deliberate targeting of civilian police forces while fulfilling their lawful duties to maintain public order is a calculated effort to foster chaos, disrupt societal recovery, and advance the occupying regime’s forced displacement agenda.
Highlighting the broader geopolitical implications, the movement sharply criticized the ongoing silence and inaction of the international community, stating that such global apathy only emboldens the Israeli cabinet under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to escalate its policies of destruction, blockade, and systematic slaughter. These actions, Hamas noted, are fundamentally aimed at uprooting Palestinians from their ancestral homeland.
In light of these developments, Hamas reiterated its urgent appeal to international mediators, ceasefire guarantor states, and regional stakeholders to intervene immediately to halt the daily chain of atrocities and terrorist acts committed against the Palestinian nation. The movement concluded by demanding that the occupying regime be compelled to strictly adhere to ceasefire provisions, ensure basic security for Palestinian civilians, and lift restrictions to allow the unimpeded entry of vital humanitarian aid into the besieged territory.
