Qatari Mediation Delegation Arrives in Tehran to Ease Regional Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
A Qatari diplomatic delegation arrived in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday evening to advance mediation efforts directed at reducing ongoing regional tensions. According to reports citing an informed Iranian official, the mission is led by the adviser to Qatar’s prime minister and minister of foreign affairs.
This diplomatic mission marks the third visit by Qatari officials to Tehran within a single week. The intensified schedule underscores Doha’s commitment to bridging the gap between Tehran and Washington, aligning opposing stances, and ultimately securing an agreement to bring hostilities to a close.
The delegation previously traveled to Tehran on Sunday of last week and returned to Iran for a subsequent round of talks on Friday. Following twelve hours of intensive negotiations, the Qatari representatives departed Tehran accompanied by Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister. Gharibabadi had earlier conducted similar consultative talks in Doha as part of the ongoing diplomatic exchanges.
