Yemeni Chief Negotiator Condemns Saudi Coalition Atrocity Against Civilians

The head of Yemen’s negotiating delegation has strongly condemned the ongoing Saudi coalition airstrikes against civilian populations, warning that such brutal violations will not mask military failures.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mohammed Abdulsalam, the chief negotiator of the Yemeni government, emphasized in recent remarks that targeted assaults against residents of remote villages and marketplaces persist, resulting in severe humanitarian catastrophes.

The Yemeni official detailed that Saudi military airstrikes targeted the village of Al-Shariyah in the Bani Hashish district, conducting secondary bombings to prevent rescue teams from reaching the incident site and aiding the injured.

He also highlighted the atrocity at the Al-Hadharah market in the Al-Wazi’iyah district of Taiz province, noting that the brutal attack resulted in the martyrdom of over 30 people and left dozens of others wounded.

Addressing these events, Abdulsalam added that the continued slaughter of civilians can never serve as a cover for military failures, and the consequences of these crimes for the perpetrators will prove far heavier than defeat on the battlefields.

In another part of his remarks, the head of the Yemeni negotiating delegation asserted that the nation’s people remain firmly committed to securing their legitimate rights to restore an independent national sovereignty free from any regional or global intervention.

Concluding with a stern warning to Riyadh that the Saudi regime must bear full responsibility for the repercussions of these actions, he noted that choosing the path of peace entails a far lower cost than persisting in aggression and ongoing bloodshed.
