UFC CEO and Close Trump Ally Rejects White House Press Secretary Offer

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Dana White, the chief executive of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and a close friend of President Donald Trump, has declined a proposal from the U.S. President to take on the role of White House Press Secretary, according to an informed source speaking to CNN.
The President of the United States had previously announced on social media that he offered the position to White, intending for him to succeed Karoline Leavitt. While one of Trump’s aides later claimed that the proposal was merely a joke, the White House Communications Director nonetheless reshared the President’s online post regarding the matter.
The U.S. administration has encountered persistent challenges in securing a permanent replacement for the press office following the departure of Karoline Leavitt last August, as well as the dismissal of Katie Zakaria after just five days in the position.
