First of all, I offer my condolences to the government and people of Iran for this great loss. It should be said that Iran’s membership in organizations such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization during the presidency of Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, as someone who was familiar with Iran’s political system and had served in the country’s important institutions for years, is considered an important diplomatic achievement for Iran. Because since the Islamic Revolution in 1357, the West, especially America, has sought to isolate Iran in the world arena, and for this reason, it is trying to weaken and destroy Iran in the field of foreign and domestic politics. Therefore, the membership in BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization can be considered an important step against the policy of isolating Iran by the US and the West. In addition, Iran follows a policy of balance in relation to the United States and its allies in relations with major international powers such as China and Russia and emerging powers such as Brazil, Pakistan and India. This policy is very logical and suitable for Iran’s foreign policy goals.

One of the regional strategies of the imperialist powers is to prevent cooperation between Turkey and Iran and establish conflict-oriented relations between the two countries. Therefore, goals such as preventing the formation of a regional axis of resistance against the imperialist powers, creating instability in the region, and thus securing Israel’s interests and security were pursued.
On the other hand, the closer relations between Iran and Turkey indirectly lead to the creation of a more positive atmosphere in the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran. Therefore, it creates a strong regional equation not only in the Middle East but also in the geopolitics of South Caucasus, Caspian and Central Asia. The geography we are talking about; It is geographically where important corridors are located. Commercial, economic and global energy lines are designed in these corridors. This means that our region is very effective and important in terms of global balance. Ayatollah Raisi’s meeting with Ilham Aliyev yesterday was also very important in this sense.
