The holy shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) today announced the arrival of the first humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza. Ahmed Hassan Fahd, the Deputy of Public Relations of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) announced today (December 9) that the first convoy of humanitarian aid left for Gaza on the recommendation of Ayatollah Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani.
According to the Al-Frat News website, this convoy weighing 16 tons is carrying medicine and medical supplies. According to Ahmad Hassan Fahd, this convoy, in coordination with the Iraqi Red Crescent and also in coordination with the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent and the Palestinian Ministry of Health, is supposed to enter Egypt first and reach the people of Gaza from there.
