According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, the media quoted local sources in Herat Province as saying This evening, Friday, December 10, in “Jabrail” town of this province, unknown armed men targeted at least 6 people, including two Shia clerics.
This terrorist incident happened in the “National Furnace” area of Jabrail town and in the 13th district. Herat has taken place.
It is said that “Mohammed Mohsen Hamidi” Imam of Hazrat Abul Fazl Mosque and “Mohammed Taqi Sadeghi” Imam of Rasool Azam Mosque (PBUH) were involved in this terrorist incident. They were martyred.
According to local sources, unknown gunmen riding in a car shot at a tricycle carrying civilians. Some sources also say that these civilians were targeted when they were returning from a funeral ceremony.
The number of injured in this terrorist incident is reported to be 3 people and the condition of two of them is critical.
