Floods and landslides in Europe claimed 7 lives + video

At least 7 people died due to floods in France, Switzerland and Italy.

According to local authorities, the violent storms and torrential rains that hit France, Switzerland and Italy in recent days have left 7 dead.

According to the Guardian, three people in northeastern France died when a tree fell on the car they were in, and the fourth passenger is in the intensive care unit.

According to the local police, at least 4 people died due to floods and landslides in Switzerland and northern Italy.

Scientists say that climate change caused by human activities increases the intensity, frequency and duration of extreme weather events such as floods and storms.

Police had earlier said that bad weather had made the rescue work particularly difficult, as several areas were inaccessible and the power grid was down.
