Russia banned the entry of 99 Canadian citizens into its territory

According to Tass news agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced that Moscow has banned the entry of 99 Canadian citizens into this country.

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia states: The government of Canada and the Prime Minister of this country, Justin Trudeau, are working in the direction of Russia-phobia in order to gain concessions from Washington.

According to this statement, the announced names of Canadian citizens include people who are active in anti-Russian publishing and propaganda.

This statement states: Russia has traditionally had a friendly attitude towards the Canadian people and has a lot in common with them, but it considers the current political elite of that country to be different from the people of this country.

According to Ryanovsti news agency, Justin Trudeau’s wife and high-ranking military officials of this country are among the people who are banned from entering Russia according to this order.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia had previously announced that in retaliation for Canada’s sanctions against Russia, it has banned the entry of 26 senior officials and Canadian citizens into its territory.
