Russia: Trump will not solve the conflict in Ukraine in one day

Vasily Nebenzia, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, said that contrary to the promises of former US President Donald Trump, the conflict in Ukraine will not be resolved in one day.

According to Rianavosti, Nebenzia said: Ukraine crisis cannot be solved in one day.

Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of the Russian presidency, called the conflict in Ukraine a problem to be solved in a day.
Nebenzia said in another part of his statement that the possible delivery of Israel’s Patriot missile defense systems to Ukraine will have political consequences. 

He said: “Any weapon sent to Ukraine will eventually be destroyed, just like other Western and American weapons.” This is obvious. But I assume that this of course may have certain political consequences.

Nebenzia answered numerous questions from journalists from different countries who almost filled the press conference hall at the United Nations. On July 1, Russia became the head of the UN Security Council for one month.
