Putin Highlights Moscow’s Role in Special Military Operation and National Development

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the residents of Moscow and all Russian citizens on “Moscow Day” on Saturday.

The Russian president stated that Moscow, like other regions of Russia, has mobilized its forces to defend the homeland. Tens of thousands of Moscow residents are currently serving in the special military operation zone.

Putin emphasized that Moscow plays a crucial role in ensuring Russia’s technological sovereignty in science and industry.

Furthermore, Vladimir Putin noted that the construction of the high-speed railway line between Moscow and Saint Petersburg is progressing rapidly. He added that in the coming years, a high-speed transportation system will connect the capital to the administrative centers of 10 adjacent regions.

The president also thanked Sergei Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow, for his services in developing the capital and congratulated him on receiving the title of “Hero of Labor.”

Expressing gratitude to the residents of Moscow, Putin declared, “Together, we will overcome any challenge. Moscow is setting advanced standards for development. Moscow is the spirit of all of Russia and its driving force for development. Difficulties and challenges are temporary, but Moscow and Russia are eternal.”
