The French leftist party refused to join Macron’s coalition

A French left-wing party, while criticizing the current French government, rejected the idea of joining Macron's coalition to consolidate people's votes.

The coordinator of the left-wing party “Unyielding France” rejected the idea of joining the centrist coalition of French President Emmanuel Macron, saying that the goals of the two sides are different.

According to Sputnik, Manuel Bompard said: “Our party only moves with the aim of implementing its plans. I will not join a government that neither collects fair taxes nor has a policy of fair distribution of wealth.”

It should be said, following the defeat of Macron’s coalition in the first phase of the country’s parliamentary elections and the defeat of the extreme right-wing party “National Community” headed by “Marine Le Pen”, moderates are thinking of cooperating with left-wing coalitions, including the “Unyielding France” party. is part of it. Yesterday, French Prime Minister Gabriel Atal warned against the rise of right-wing power in this country and said: “Our goal is clear; We must prevent the victory of the National Assembly Party in the second round of parliamentary elections.”

The results of the first round of early French elections showed that the right-wing party “National Community” won 34.2% of the votes and was ranked first, while Macron’s coalition of 3 parties won 21.5%. The percentage of votes should be enough to win the third place.

It should be said, Emmanuel Macron’s decision to hold early elections plunged his country into a kind of political uncertainty. This decision sent a wave of shock throughout Europe and caused the sale of French assets in the financial markets.
