According to the announcement of the NATO website, Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of this military organization, appointed Patrick Turner, the former Deputy Secretary General of NATO for Military Policy and Planning, as the Chief of Staff. He appointed the representative of this coalition in Ukraine.

Patrick Turner will assume this role in September 2024 in Kyiv.

He previously served as NATO Assistant Secretary-General for Operations and as Assistant Secretary-General for Military Policy and Planning, as well as in a number of senior civil service posts for the UK. .
