The Indian Meteorological Department has also reported that heavy rains will occur in the state of Kerala on Tuesday. In a statement, the office of the minister of Kerala announced that the relief efforts are continuing and two helicopters of the Indian Air Force have also been dispatched to the region.
Mohsen Shahidi, one of the senior officers of the National Disaster Response Force announced that the rescue efforts were hampered because the internet connection in the area was cut off.
