In this statement, the US Department of Treasury has targeted “the network involved in financing the regional militancy of the Houthis” as a target for sanctions.
The forces of the Yemeni National Army have carried out several military operations against Israeli ships in the Red Sea and Makran Sea in support of the Palestinian resistance since the Israeli attacks against Gaza.
