The American ambassador in Mexico recently described the Mexican president’s judicial reforms as a “dangerous factor for the economic relations between the two countries”.
According to the US ambassador, “US-Mexico relations will not continue without the presence of a transparent, independent and powerful judiciary.”
The president of Mexico expressed hope that this issue will not happen again and stressed that he will “soon send an official note of protest to the US government”.
