Groups affiliated with Al-Qaeda terrorists took responsibility for this attack.
The Reuters reporter also saw and reported the burnt remains of a body around the conflict area.
In this connection, some eyewitnesses announced that the sound of shooting was also heard around the Bamako airport.
Mali’s army announced in a statement: “Early this morning, a group of terrorists tried to infiltrate the Faladie Gendarmerie Training Center.” Currently cleaning operation is in progress.
General Omar Diara, the commander of the country’s army, visited the said center after the incident and told reporters that today’s “complex attack” is now under control and the infiltrating fighters have been “neutralized”.
