An important meeting between the leaders of the Fatah and Hamas movements in Cairo

Delegations from two movements, Fatah and Hamas, will meet tomorrow in Cairo to discuss ways to counter the aggression of the Zionist regime and help the people under siege in Gaza.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing the Voice of Beirut website, the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fath) announced that a delegation from this movement will meet with the leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) tomorrow, Wednesday, in Cairo. Discuss the genocide of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and the achievement of Palestinian national reconciliation.

The Fatah movement emphasized in a statement: “A delegation from the Fatah movement will leave for Cairo on Wednesday.”

This statement added that this delegation includes Mahmoud al-Awl, the deputy head of the Fatah movement, Azzam al-Ahmad, a member of the Fatah Central Committee and a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s executive committee, and Rouhi Fattouh. , is the head of the Palestinian National Council.

This delegation is supposed to discuss with Hamas leaders about the situation of Palestinians in the shadow of the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip and ways to help the people of this region.

The Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, started a war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, which has killed more than 137,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children. or injured and more than 10 thousand people are also missing.

This war has caused widespread destruction and famine, which has killed dozens of children and marked one of the world’s worst human tragedies in history.

At the same time as the war against Gaza, the Zionist regime army and the Zionist settlers intensified their attacks in the occupied West Bank, including in East Jerusalem, which resulted in the martyrdom of 719 Palestinians, including 160 children, and about 6,200 people were injured and more than 11,000 people were arrested. Since 2007, Palestinians have been facing a geographical and political divide between Fatah and Hamas, and regional and international efforts and numerous agreements have failed to end this gap.
