The price of gold per ounce increased by 0.16% to $2,666 and 84 cents today. The price of gold futures on the Comex market of New York reached $2,683 and 10 cents with an increase of 0.16%.
In the other precious metals market, silver rose 0.20% to $31.82 today, and platinum was trading at $997.3 cents, up 0.89%.
