The end of voting in the parliamentary elections of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to the Iraqi Waa news agency, the general voting process for the parliamentary elections of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq ended this Sunday evening at 6 o’clock local time.
Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, congratulated the residents of the Kurdistan Region, its presidency and government, and all political forces and independent candidates on the successful holding of the parliamentary elections of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
He pointed out that the continuation of democracy in different regions of Iraq emphasizes respect for the value of democracy and faith in the peaceful transfer of power and stabilization of the constitution-based structure. .
Al-Sudani, while appreciating the efforts of the High Independent Election Commission of Iraq, expressed hope for the formation of a new government in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Independent High Commissioner for Elections of Iraq had announced that the participation in the elections was 31%.
